I want to do some basic maintenance on my Audi A3 and would like to know the steps to changing the spark plugs. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
ReplyFirst, gather all necessary tools: new spark plugs, spark plug socket, ratchet, spark plug gap tool, and anti-seize lubricant. Next, locate the spark plugs, remove the ignition coil and spark plug wire, and use the ratchet to unscrew the old spark plug. Use the gap tool to ensure the new spark plug has the right gap and add a small amount of anti-seize to prevent future rusting. Then, carefully screw in the new spark plug and reconnect the ignition coil and wire. Repeat for the remaining plugs.
