To check the oil level in an Audi A4, first make sure the engine is turned off and has been off for at least 5 minutes. Open the hood and locate the dipstick, which is usually yellow in color. Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a paper towel. Reinsert the dipstick all the way back in, then remove it again and check the oil level. The oil should be between the minimum and maximum marks on the dipstick. If it is below the minimum mark, add oil until it reaches the correct level. If it is above the maximum mark, consult with a mechanic as too much oil can cause damage to the engine.

Another method to check the oil level in an Audi A4 is by using the onboard computer. Turn on the ignition to the 'on' position without starting the engine. Use the controls on your steering wheel to navigate to the 'Vehicle' option on the display screen. From there, select 'Oil Level' and the current oil level will be displayed. If the oil level is low, you will receive a warning message on the screen. It is important to add oil as soon as possible.
