How do I reset the Audi A3's MMI system?

I am having trouble with my Audi A3's MMI system and I can't seem to figure out how to reset it. What is the proper way to reset the MMI system?

You can reset the MMI system by pressing and holding down the power button for about 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, try disconnecting the car's battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it.
