To reset the MMI system, press and hold the soft keys for the radio, telephone and navigation systems simultaneously for about 10 seconds. This should restart the system and fix any issues you were experiencing.

If the above method doesn't work, try disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This will also reset the MMI system.
