To reset the MMI system in your Audi A3, you can try pressing and holding the Menu and Car buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, try disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This should reset the system and allow you to use it again.

I've had the same issue with my Audi A3's MMI system before. I found that disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it did the trick. Give that a try and see if it works for you.

Another possible solution is to try performing a master reset on the system. This can usually be done by going into the settings or diagnostics menu and selecting the master reset option. Just be aware that this will reset all of your personalized settings and preferences.
