I recently serviced my Audi A3, but the service indicator on my dashboard is still showing that it needs to be serviced. How do I reset the indicator so it reflects the service I just had done?
ReplyTo reset the service indicator, press and hold the '0.0' button on your dashboard until the display shows 'SERVICE INTERVAL RESET'. Then release the button and press again to confirm the reset. This should update the service indicator to reflect the recent service.
If you have a newer model of the Audi A3, you can also reset the service indicator through the MMI system. Go to 'CAR' in the main menu, then select 'CAR SYSTEMS', 'Vehicle settings' and 'Service'. From there, you can reset the service indicator.
I had a similar issue and found that disconnecting the car's battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it reset the service indicator. Just be sure to have your radio code handy when reconnecting the battery.
