How does the regeneration system in the Audi e-Tron work?

I've heard that the Audi e-Tron has regenerative braking. Can you explain how this system works and how it differs from traditional braking systems?

The e-Tron uses a combination of its electric motors and the brakes to facilitate regeneration. Every time you apply the brakes, the motors act as generators and convert the kinetic energy into electrical energy, which is then stored in the battery. This not only helps to increase the range of the vehicle, but also reduces wear and tear on the brakes.
