How to check the oil level in an Audi A1?

I recently bought an Audi A1 and I want to make sure I check the oil level correctly. Can someone give me step-by-step instructions?

To check the oil level in your Audi A1, park on a level surface and wait for the engine to cool down. Open the hood and locate the dipstick, which is usually labeled as 'engine oil'. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with a cloth. Then insert it back into the dipstick tube and pull it out again. The oil level should be between the 'min' and 'max' markers.
