My Audi's MMI system isn't working properly. Sometimes it freezes or doesn't respond to touch commands. What steps can I take to troubleshoot and fix this problem?

The first thing you should try is resetting the MMI system by holding down the setup button and the top right control knob for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, check for any software updates through the Audi website. If the issue persists, it's best to bring your car to a certified Audi technician for further diagnosis and repair.

I had a similar issue and found that disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it solved the problem. This resets all the car's systems and can often resolve any MMI issues. Just make sure you have your radio code handy before doing this.

Before taking your car to the dealership, try checking the fuses related to the MMI system. There may be a faulty fuse causing the issue. You can find the location and type of fuse required in your car's manual. It's a simple and inexpensive fix if that's the problem.
