Is it normal for my Audi A6 to make a strange noise when I accelerate?

I've noticed that when I accelerate, there is a slight rattling sound coming from the engine. Should I be worried about this or is it a normal noise for Audi A6?

It's not uncommon for Audi engines to make a slight rattling noise when accelerating. However, if the noise is excessively loud or irregular, it could indicate a potential issue with the engine. I recommend having a mechanic take a look at it to be on the safe side.

I own an Audi A6 and have experienced the same noise when accelerating. After consulting with my mechanic, I found out that it was a loose heat shield on the exhaust system. It's a common problem with A6s and an easy fix. You should have it checked out just to be sure.

I've been driving an Audi A6 for 5 years now and have never experienced such noise. It's always better to be safe than sorry, so I suggest getting it looked at by a certified Audi technician. They will be able to diagnose the issue and give you the best advice.
