Troubleshooting A Faulty Immobilizer in an Audi A6

I have a 2014 Audi A6 and have noticed that my immobilizer is not working properly. The car will not start and the immobilizer light is constantly flashing. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

This issue could be caused by a faulty immobilizer control module or an issue with the key fob. I recommend taking your car to a certified Audi mechanic to diagnose and fix the problem.

First, try replacing the battery in your key fob. If that doesn't work, it's possible that the immobilizer antenna or antenna wiring has gone bad. Have a mechanic check these components and replace them if needed.

If you have recently changed the battery in your key fob, make sure it was the correct battery and that it was properly installed. A wrong or incorrectly installed battery can cause the immobilizer to malfunction.
