What is the difference between the Audi A3 1.8 and 2.0 engines?

I am considering buying an Audi A3 but I am not sure which engine option to choose. Can someone explain the differences between the 1.8 and 2.0 engines and which one would be better suited for my needs?

The main difference between the 1.8 and 2.0 engines is their size and power output. The 1.8 engine has a displacement of 1.8 liters and produces 170 horsepower, while the 2.0 engine has a displacement of 2.0 liters and produces 190 horsepower.

The 2.0 engine also has a slightly higher torque output, meaning it will provide better acceleration and responsiveness compared to the 1.8 engine.

It ultimately depends on your personal preference and driving needs. If you prioritize fuel efficiency, the 1.8 engine may be a better option. However, if you want a more powerful and dynamic driving experience, the 2.0 engine would be a better choice.
