When should I replace the brake pads on my Audi A1?

I've had my Audi A1 for a few years now and I'm not sure when to replace the brake pads. Can someone give me some advice on when is the best time to replace them and why?

Hi Hannah, it's important to keep an eye on your brake pads and replace them when they are worn out. Usually, it's recommended to replace them every 25,000 miles or so. However, if you notice that your brakes are squealing or taking longer to stop, it might be a sign that they need to be replaced sooner.

Hi Hannah, it's always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to your brakes. If you're not sure, it's always a good idea to have a mechanic check them out to determine when you should replace them.
