Why does my Audi A6 have a rattling sound when I accelerate?

I have noticed that my Audi A6 makes a rattling sound when I accelerate. It seems to be coming from the engine area. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The rattling sound could be caused by a loose heat shield on your exhaust system. This is a common issue in the Audi A6. I recommend taking it to a mechanic to have it tightened or replaced.
