I recently purchased an Audi A8 and noticed that the engine makes a strange clicking noise when I accelerate. It doesn't seem to affect the performance of the car, but it's quite concerning. Can anyone explain what might be causing this noise and if it's something I should be worried about?
ReplyIt's possible that the clicking noise is coming from the valves in your engine. Try getting them checked and possibly replaced.
I had a similar issue with my Audi A8 and it turned out to be a worn timing belt. Make sure to have it inspected and replaced if needed.
If the noise is only happening when the engine is cold, it could be due to a faulty oil pump. Get it checked by a mechanic.
