Why is the Audi A5's adaptive cruise control not working properly?

I recently purchased an Audi A5 and have been having issues with the adaptive cruise control feature. It seems to not maintain the set distance from the car in front of me, causing me to constantly adjust the speed. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a solution?

The adaptive cruise control feature may have been affected by a software glitch during the manufacturing process. I suggest taking your car to an authorized Audi dealer to have them run a diagnostic check and update the software if needed.

Make sure you are using the feature correctly. The adaptive cruise control setting should be used in conjunction with the lane keeping assist system to maintain a safe distance from the car in front of you. If this still doesn't work, it could be a sensor issue.
