Are carbon ceramic brakes worth the extra cost?

I'm considering purchasing an Audi R8 and I'm wondering if it's worth the extra expense to get carbon ceramic brakes. Do they provide a significant improvement in performance and safety? Or is it just a luxury feature?

In my experience, carbon ceramic brakes are definitely worth the extra cost. They offer much better stopping power and can handle high speeds and heavy use without showing signs of wear. Plus, they can save you money in the long run by lasting longer and requiring less maintenance.

I've tested both standard and carbon ceramic brakes on an Audi R8 and didn't notice much of a difference in performance. It's ultimately a personal preference, but if you want the added peace of mind and have the budget, go for the carbon ceramics.
