Can I change the oil in my Audi A4 using conventional oil instead of synthetic oil?

I heard that using synthetic oil can provide better performance and protection for my engine. But is it really necessary or can I save some money by using conventional oil?

While synthetic oil is generally recommended for Audi vehicles, it is not absolutely necessary. Conventional oil can also provide adequate protection for your engine, but you may not get the same performance benefits. It's ultimately up to your personal preference and budget.

You may be able to use conventional oil in your Audi A4, but be aware that the manufacturer may not recommend it. Using synthetic oil will likely extend the life of your engine and provide better overall performance. Consider the long-term cost versus short-term savings.

As a mechanic, I highly recommend using synthetic oil in your Audi A4 for optimal engine protection. However, if you must use conventional oil, just remember to change it more frequently as it breaks down faster. And always use the correct viscosity recommended by the manufacturer.
