Can the Audi A1 be converted to run on alternative fuels?

I am considering purchasing an Audi A1, but I am also passionate about reducing my carbon footprint. Can the Audi A1 be converted to run on alternative fuels such as electricity or biofuels? If so, what are the steps and costs involved?

Unfortunately, the Audi A1 is not designed to be converted to alternative fuels. The engine and fuel system are specifically designed to run on gasoline or diesel. However, Audi does offer an all-electric version of the A1 called the e-tron, if that is something you are interested in.
