To change the engine oil in your Audi 80, first gather the necessary tools and materials such as a new oil filter, oil pan, funnel, and the specific oil recommended by your owner's manual. Next, locate and remove the oil drain plug underneath the car and allow all the old oil to drain into the oil pan. Then, replace the oil drain plug and remove the old oil filter. Add new oil to the engine through the designated oil cap and use the funnel to avoid spills. Finally, start your engine and check for any leaks. It's recommended to change the oil every 5,000 miles or every six months, whichever comes first.
