How can I adjust the automatic start-stop function on my Audi?

I have been experiencing issues with my Audi's automatic start-stop function and I would like to know how to adjust it. Every time I come to a stop, the engine shuts off, but it takes a few seconds to start back up again, causing a delay in acceleration.
