I recently noticed that my Audi A4's brakes are starting to squeak and I think it's time to change the brake pads. Can anyone walk me through the process?
ReplyFirstly, make sure you have all the necessary tools and equipment before starting the process. This includes a jack, jack stands, socket wrench, brake caliper tool, and new brake pads. It's also a good idea to have someone assist you.
Once you have all the tools, begin by loosening the lug nuts on the wheels. Then, lift the car with the jack and secure it on jack stands.
Next, use the socket wrench to remove the bolts holding the brake caliper in place. Carefully remove the caliper and suspend it from the frame using a bungee cord.
