How can I check the battery life of my Audi A2?

I just purchased an Audi A2 and I'm not sure how often I need to charge the battery. Can someone help explain the process and frequency of battery checks?

To check the battery life of your Audi A2, simply turn on the ignition and observe the voltmeter on your dashboard. If it reads below 12 volts, it's time for a charge. I recommend checking the battery every 3 months.

Another way to check your battery life is by using a multimeter. Connect the red lead to the positive terminal and the black lead to the negative terminal. A reading of 12.6 volts indicates a fully charged battery. For optimal performance, check every 6 months.

If you want to prolong the life of your battery, invest in a battery maintainer. This device will automatically charge and maintain the battery at optimal levels. I personally recommend checking the battery every 3 months, regardless of using a maintainer.
