I recently bought a used Audi A3 and want to make sure the engine oil level is within the recommended range. Can someone guide me through the process? I have very little knowledge about cars.
ReplyTo check the engine oil level in an Audi A3, first make sure the car is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool. Open the hood and locate the oil dipstick, usually labeled with a yellow handle. Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a cloth. Then reinsert the dipstick all the way back in and pull it out again. The oil level should be between the minimum and maximum marks. If it's below the minimum mark, you'll need to add more oil.
Need some peace of mind? Visit your nearest Audi dealership and ask for a complimentary oil level check. They will also be able to advise you on when you should schedule your next oil change.
