How can I check the oil level on my Audi A1?

I recently purchased an Audi A1 and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining it. Can anyone provide some guidance on how to properly check the oil level on my vehicle?

The best way to check your oil level is by using the dipstick. Locate the dipstick in the engine bay, pull it out and wipe it clean. Insert it back in and pull it out to check the oil level. If it's near the low mark, you should add more oil.

Another way to check your oil level is through the on-board computer. Press the car button on your steering wheel until you reach the service menu. From there, select 'Oil Level' and your oil level will be displayed on the screen.

Make sure to check your oil level when the engine is warm and on level ground for the most accurate reading. If the oil level is consistently low, this could indicate a potential issue and you should take your car to a mechanic for further inspection.
