How can I check the transmission fluid level in my Audi 80?

I recently purchased a used Audi 80 and I want to make sure the transmission fluid level is sufficient. Can you provide any tips on how to check it?

To check the transmission fluid level in your Audi 80, start by parking the car on a level surface and engaging the parking brake. Then, locate the transmission dipstick, which is usually located near the back of the engine compartment. Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean, then reinsert it and pull it out again. The fluid level should be between the Min and Max marks on the dipstick. If it is low, add more fluid until it reaches the correct level.

In addition to checking the transmission fluid level, it's also important to inspect the fluid itself. If it appears dark or has a burnt smell, it may be a sign of a transmission problem and should be checked by a mechanic. It's also a good idea to refer to your owner's manual for specific guidelines on checking and changing the transmission fluid in your Audi 80.
