How can I fix the common issue of squeaky brakes in an Audi 80?

I recently noticed that my Audi 80's brakes have been making a loud squeaking noise whenever I come to a stop. It's becoming quite annoying and I'm not sure what could be causing it. Any help is appreciated!

The most likely cause of this issue is worn out brake pads. You should check your pads and replace them if they are too thin. It's also a good idea to clean and lubricate your brake calipers to prevent any future squeaking.

Another possible cause could be dirt or debris stuck in the brakes. Try cleaning the brake components and see if that helps. If the noise persists, it may be time to get your brakes checked by a professional mechanic.
