How can I fix the starter issue in my Audi 80?

I've recently been having issues starting my Audi 80. The car cranks but does not turn over. I've checked the battery and it seems to be fine. What could be causing this issue?

The starter motor may be faulty or worn out. It's a common issue in older Audi 80 models. I recommend having it checked by a mechanic to determine if it needs to be replaced. As a general rule, it's always a good idea to replace the starter every 100,000 miles for optimal performance.

It could also be a problem with the ignition switch. If the switch is not sending enough power to the starter, it won't be able to start the car. Try wiggling the key while turning it to see if that helps. If not, have a mechanic check the ignition switch for any issues.
