I recently purchased an Audi A1, and I love everything about it except for the fact that I have to physically insert the key into the door to unlock it. I heard there is a way to program my key fob to unlock the car remotely, but I'm not sure how to do it. Can someone please guide me through the process? Thank you!
ReplyTo program your Audi A1 key fob, first make sure that you are within range of your vehicle. Then, press and hold the unlock button on the fob while simultaneously pressing the unlock button on the door handle. Release both buttons and the LED lights on the fob will flash three times to indicate successful programming.
One thing to note is that this process will erase any existing programming on the key fob, so make sure to have any spare keys with you when you do this. If you only have one key fob, consider storing it in a safe place and programming another key as a backup.
