How can I replace the ignition switch on my Audi 80?

I am having an issue turning the key in the ignition of my Audi 80. It feels like it is stuck or jammed. How can I replace the ignition switch to fix this problem?

To replace the ignition switch on your Audi 80, you will need to first disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the steering column covers. Then, carefully remove the wiring harness from the back of the ignition switch and remove the switch from the column. Install the new switch and reattach the wiring harness, ensuring all connections are secure. Finally, replace the steering column covers and reconnect the battery cable.
