I recently purchased a used Audi A3 and the MMI system seems to have some issues. How can I reset the system to see if that resolves the problem?
ReplyTo reset your MMI system, you can try pressing and holding the MENU, central control knob, and upper right soft key simultaneously for about 10 seconds. This should reboot the system and clear any possible glitches.
Another way to reset your MMI system is by disconnecting the car's battery for about 30 minutes. This will cause a hard reset and may resolve any issues you are experiencing with the system.
If the above methods do not work, you can also try entering the MMI engineering mode by pressing and holding the MENU button, then pressing the CAR and BACK buttons at the same time. Once in engineering mode, navigate to the car menu and select the option to reset MMI settings. This will revert the system to its factory settings.
