I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery but it did not reset the MMI system. Is there another way to do so without disconnecting the battery?
ReplyYou can reset your Audi A5's MMI by pressing and holding down the 'Menu' and 'Car' buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds. This will bring up a hidden menu where you can reset the MMI system.
Another way to reset the Audi A5's MMI is by using the VCDS diagnostic tool. This tool allows you to perform various diagnostic and maintenance functions on your Audi.
If you are uncomfortable using a diagnostic tool, you can also reset the MMI by disconnecting the negative battery cable for about 15 minutes. However, this may cause your radio and clock settings to be reset as well.
