How can I reset my Audi MMI Navigation system?

I recently purchased a used Audi and the MMI Navigation system is not working properly. How can I reset it back to factory settings?

To reset your Audi MMI Navigation system, first turn on the system by pressing the middle knob. Then, simultaneously press and hold the function buttons 1, 2, and 3 for 10 seconds until the system reboots. This should reset the system back to factory settings.

Another option to reset your Audi MMI Navigation system is to disconnect the car's battery for 5 minutes and then reconnect it. This will force a system reset and may fix any issues you are experiencing.
