I recently purchased a used Audi A3 and I noticed that the MMI keeps freezing or not responding properly. Is there a way to reset it without having to go to the dealership?
ReplyTo reset your MMI, press and hold the function keys 1, 6, and 7 simultaneously for about 10 seconds. Then, release the keys and wait for the system to reboot. This should reset the MMI and fix any freezing or unresponsive issues.
You can also try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This will also reset the MMI system and might help fix any issues.
If the above methods do not work, you may need to have the MMI software updated. You can do this at a dealership or with an independent mechanic who has the proper tools and software.
