How can I reset the MMI system on my Audi A3?

I recently changed the battery on my Audi A3 and now the MMI system is not working properly. How can I reset it?

You can try performing a hard reset by simultaneously pressing the Menu, Central Control Knob and Upper Right Selection buttons on the MMI console for 10 seconds. This should reset the system.

If the hard reset does not work, you can also try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This will also reset the system.
