How can I reset the MMI system on my Audi S5 Sportback?

I recently changed my battery and now my MMI system is not working properly. The buttons are not responding and the screen is blank. How can I reset the system?

You can reset the MMI system by pressing and holding the MENU button, while simultaneously pressing the CAR and SETUP buttons. Hold for about 5 seconds until the system reboots and the buttons start working again.
