How can I troubleshoot a faulty power steering in my Audi 80?

My Audi 80's power steering suddenly stopped working and I'm not sure what the cause could be. I've checked the fluid levels and they seem fine. Has anyone experienced a similar issue and how did you solve it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

First, check the power steering belt. It could be loose or worn out. If that's not the issue, it could be a problem with the power steering pump or the steering rack. I suggest taking it to a mechanic for a proper diagnosis.

I had a similar issue with my Audi 80 and it turned out to be a faulty power steering pressure switch. I replaced it and the problem was solved. Make sure to use an OEM part for better quality.
