How can I troubleshoot the ABS system on my Audi 80?

I am having issues with the ABS system on my Audi 80 and I can't figure out what the problem is. The ABS light keeps coming on and off and I am worried it might affect the safety of my vehicle.

The first thing you should do is check the ABS fuse and relay. If they are in good condition, then it is likely an issue with one of the ABS sensors.

Make sure your brake fluid is at the correct level and there are no leaks in the system. Low brake fluid can also trigger the ABS light.

If you have recently changed your brake pads, make sure they are compatible with your ABS system. Some aftermarket pads may not work properly with your system.
