How can I turn off the automatic park assist feature on my Audi A8?

I have noticed that my Audi A8 always tries to park itself when I get too close to a parking spot. While this feature can be helpful at times, it can also be quite annoying when I just want to park the car myself. Is there a way to disable this feature?
