How do I activate the Launch Control feature on my Audi R8?

I've heard that the Audi R8 has a Launch Control feature that optimizes acceleration from a standstill. How can I activate this feature on my car?

To activate Launch Control on an Audi R8, first ensure that the car is in Sport mode and that the ESC is turned off. Then, hold down the brake pedal and fully press the accelerator pedal.
