How do I activate the panic alarm on my Audi A3?

I've searched the manual and can't seem to find the answer. Can anyone help me understand how to activate the panic alarm on my Audi A3?

To activate the panic alarm on your Audi A3, simply press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on your key fob simultaneously for 3 seconds.

If you don't have your key fob with you, you can activate the panic alarm by using the Emergency Key located in the back of your key fob. Insert the Emergency Key into the driver's door and turn it to the right twice.

If you've misplaced your key fob, you can also activate the panic alarm by pressing and holding the red SOS button located in your overhead light console for 5 seconds.
