How do I check the engine oil level in my Audi A2?

I've recently purchased an Audi A2 and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining the engine oil level. What is the best way to check it?

First, park your car on level ground and let the engine cool down for at least 10 minutes. Then locate the dipstick, which is usually marked with a bright colored handle. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with a paper towel or cloth. Insert it back into the tube and pull it out again to check the level. The oil level should be between the high and low marks on the dipstick.
