How do I enable Android Auto on my Audi A5?

I just purchased a new Audi A5 and I want to use Android Auto for navigation and media in my car. How do I enable this feature?

To enable Android Auto, go to your car's audio settings menu and select the Android Auto option. Then, plug your phone into the USB port using the appropriate cord.
