How do I enable hill descent control on my Audi A2?

I have been driving a new Audi A2 and noticed there is a hill descent control feature. Does anyone know how to activate it and what type of situations it may be useful in?

To enable hill descent control on your Audi A2, press and hold the hill descent control button, located near the gear selector, for at least three seconds. This feature is helpful when driving on steep or slippery slopes.

You can also enable hill descent control through the vehicle's touchscreen display. Go to the Hill Descent Control menu and enable the feature. Keep in mind, this feature is most useful in off-roading situations.

Hill descent control can automatically slow down your vehicle when going down a steep incline, allowing you to focus on steering. Just remember to manually brake when necessary.
