How do I know when to change the brake pads on an Audi A2?

I recently bought an Audi A2 and I'm not sure when I should change the brake pads. I want to make sure I am not driving on worn out brake pads, but also don't want to replace them too early. Can anyone provide some advice?

Typically, brake pads should be replaced every 50,000 miles or when the thickness is worn down to 3mm. You can also check for warning signs such as squealing or grinding noises when braking.

I would recommend checking your owner's manual as it should have specific guidelines on when to change the brake pads for your Audi A2 model. It's always best to follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
