How do I lower the RPM of my Audi A5?

I've noticed that my Audi A5's RPM is consistently higher than it should be, especially when idling. It's also vibrating more than usual. Is there a specific fix for this issue or should I bring it in to a mechanic?

The most common cause of high RPM in Audi A5's is a faulty idle air control valve (IACV). This can be easily checked and replaced by a mechanic. Make sure to also check for any vacuum leaks in the intake system.

Another potential cause could be a dirty or clogged air filter. Have you checked and replaced your air filter recently? This could also contribute to higher RPMs and vibrations in your Audi A5.
