I need to access the rear speakers in my Audi A6 and I'm not sure how to remove the back seat. Can anyone provide guidance on how to do this?
ReplyRemoving the back seat in an Audi A6 is actually quite simple! First, start by disconnecting the battery to avoid any electrical mishaps. Then, use a flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool to gently pry off the plastic caps covering the seat bolts. Once the bolts are exposed, use a wrench or socket set to unscrew and remove them. Finally, carefully lift the back seat up and out of the car. Make sure to keep track of the bolts and plastic caps so you can easily reattach them when you're done.
I had the same question and was able to figure it out with some trial and error. First, you need to remove the rear bench by pulling up on the front edge and pushing it back. Then, remove the plastic tabs covering the bolts that hold the back rest in place. Use a wrench or socket set to loosen and remove the bolts. Once the back rest is loose, lift it up and out of the car. It might take a bit of maneuvering, but it will come out. Good luck!
