How do I replace the battery in my 2001 Audi A2?

I noticed that my Audi A2 is not starting as quickly as it used to and my headlights seem to be dimmer. I suspect it may be the battery. How can I replace it myself?

First, make sure you have the correct replacement battery for your specific Audi A2 model. Then, start by disconnecting the negative terminal of the old battery followed by the positive terminal. Remove any clamps or brackets holding the battery in place, and carefully lift it out. Clean the terminals and battery tray before placing the new battery in and securing it. Don't forget to reconnect the positive terminal followed by the negative terminal. If you are unsure, it's always best to consult a professional mechanic.
