How do I replace the brake pads on an Audi A4?

I have noticed that my brakes are making a squealing noise and the pedal feels soft. I suspect that the brake pads need to be replaced. What is the process for replacing them on an Audi A4?

'The first step is to gather all the necessary tools and materials. This includes a jack, jack stands, lug wrench, new brake pads, and brake grease. Next, you will need to loosen the lug nuts on the wheel where you will be replacing the brake pads. Once the lug nuts are loose, use the jack to lift the car and place the jack stands securely under the vehicle for support. After removing the wheel, you will have access to the brake caliper and pads. It's important to note which pads are on the inside and outside of the caliper for proper reassembly. With a c-clamp, press the caliper piston back in to make room for the new, thicker brake pads. Then, remove the old pads and apply a thin layer of brake grease to the back of the new pads. Finally, reassemble the caliper and wheel and repeat the process on the other wheels.'

'Additionally, make sure to check the brake fluid level and top off if necessary. It's also a good idea to clean any brake dust or debris off of the caliper and rotor before reassembling. And don't forget to test the brakes before driving to ensure they are working properly. If you are unsure about any step in the process, it's always best to consult a professional mechanic.'
