How do I replace the ignition coil on my Audi 80?

I recently noticed my Audi 80 has been having trouble starting and the engine is not running as smoothly as before. After some research, I believe the ignition coil may be the issue. How do I replace it?

A

Firstly, you will need to locate the ignition coil, which is usually found near the spark plugs. It is a small cylindrical object with wires connected to it. Make sure to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery before proceeding.

Next, carefully remove the old ignition coil by disconnecting the wires and bolts holding it in place. Take note of the order of the spark plug wires and make sure to label them for reinstallation.
